Ruby Reels

Privacy Policy

This page explains what information this review site collects when you read it, why, and what choices you have. We are an independent publisher that reviews online casinos. We are not Ruby Reels, we do not run a casino, and we never see your account, your deposits or your play there.

Who we are

We publish written reviews and comparisons of online casino brands for readers in Australia. Our pages are informational. You do not need to register, log in or hand over any detail to read them.

Because we do not operate a gambling service, we hold no player accounts, no wallets and no payment records. Anything you do after clicking through to an operator is governed by that operator's own privacy policy, not this one.

What we collect

Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages records basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, the browser and device type, the page you requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This information is needed to deliver the page, keep the site secure and spot abuse.

If you contact us directly, we also keep the message you send and the address you wrote from, for as long as it takes to reply and a reasonable period afterwards. We ask you not to send card numbers, passwords or identity documents, because we will never need them.

Cookies and measurement

We may use a small number of cookies or similar browser storage to remember simple preferences and to measure which pages are read, in aggregate. We use this to see whether a guide is useful and where readers give up, not to build a profile of you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site stays readable without them, although a few convenience features may reset on each visit.

Links to operators and other sites

Our pages contain links to casino operators. When you follow one, the operator may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, device details and the fact that you arrived from our page. We may also be told that a visit came from us. We have no control over what the operator does with that data, so read its policy before you sign up.

We do not pass on contact details we collect from readers to operators or to advertisers.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised. Correspondence is kept only while it is useful for answering you or for our own records of a complaint or correction. Aggregated reading statistics contain no personal identifiers and may be kept longer.

Your choices and rights

Under Australian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Send the request through the contact method shown on this site and tell us which page or message you mean, so we can find it.

If you are not happy with how we handled a request, you can raise a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We would still like the chance to fix the problem first.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date of the revision. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised wording. If a change is significant, we will say so near the top of the page rather than burying it.
